Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Rickie-Lee Waye who was born in Toronto, Ontario,Canada on May 13, 1985 and passed away on December 30, 2005 at the age of 20. We will remember her forever.

I just want to say a few words about my sister, Rickie-Lee. I can clearly remember times of when she was growing up; her great big smile, she never changed until this very day. I have watched her grow into a beautiful woman from the inside out. Rickie-Lee always looked out for others. If anyone was in need, she always tried to help. During her last hours, she was thinking of others. I always tried to be there for her whenever she needed me even if it was just for someone to talk to. I remember doing her hair and getting her ready for her grade 8 graduation ceremony. She looked so beautiful.

When Rickie-Lee graduated high school, I was there and was so happy for her to finally achieve her goal of being the first one to graduate high school in the family, with honors. I wanted to cheer so loud that day. I was so happy to see her get that diploma. She always loved children and she expressed that unconditional love to her younger cousins. Lucy Waye (My mother) was loved very much by Rickie-Lee and she took care of Lucy even when she was sick and had no energy.

My sister gave me a different outlook on life and that was to live each day as if it were my last. I learned to set goals and go for them and to never give up on those goals. She taught me how to be strong. She has (and always will be) a big inspiration in my life and I hope to many others as well.  I am glad for anyone to have had the chance to get to know Rickie-Lee. She was a great person. She now gone into to the arms of the lord away from pain and suffering. She will be forever at peace. But she will never be forgotten.
She's angel who finally got her wings!!
